Life has caught up, time flies..

There have been many things happening and I'm really slacking on this whole blog thing. I've sat down to write on here literally 5 different times and stopped because I can't get it flowing. Now, I'm going to try to get it done this time. Sixth time's a charm, right? ;)

So, the last time I wrote was October 30th. Yes, it's been that long. :(
Let's just say a few things have happened since then..

First of all we had Halloween the next day. I spent $60 on candy. Lee wanted to strangle me I think. But hey, we still have some for a candy dish my mom gave me for a Christmas decoration. We had our friends come over that have a little boy that's 2 1/2 and a little girl that is about to be 1 in January. It's been such a blessing to see them grow when I can't see my little brother grow every day. They came over and I cooked dinner. While I was cooking they took their little boy out to trick-or-treat until dinner was ready. He was dressed up as a tiger and his little sister was a football. MIZ!

After Halloween, we had a few days of everyday life. Then, we got the news that Lee's grandpa wasn't doing so great. He gradually got worse and eventually passed away on November 12th, early that morning. We headed down to Arkansas after I got off work that day. It was a very hard time for Lee as you can imagine. You know men, they think they have to be strong through the hard times. {I've never understood that.} Women know how to do it, let it all out, cry it out, it just feels so much better. We spent the next day with the family. November 14th was the visitation and funeral. It all happened in one day. I think that made it a little easier than dragging it out for two days. We came home the day of the funeral. Very. Short. Trip.

That Friday, we went home. Like home, home. I stayed home until the next weekend right after Thanksgiving. I got to watch my little man that whole week. It's helped me get through these past few weeks. We've stayed home {as in our Bell home. I know, it gets confusing} for the past two weekends.

The weekend after Thanksgiving we had Mr. Bell's company Christmas party. We became the entertainment as they did a spin off The Newlywed Game. It was pretty fun considering I've always wanted to be on a game show ever since Double Dare 2000 was around. So that was pretty sah-weet!
And last but not least, our friends came down here from back home. We celebrated a birthday by going to the local shooting range. We shot our bows at techno hunt (which was pretty amazing) and then went to Red Lobster. I can't tell you the last time I've been to Red Lobster. It was such a treat and so nice to have some visitors from back home. (I was getting a little homesick)

There's a little update from the past month and a half.

much love,
